The Brookings Census Project (2018) reports that by 2045, the United States will become a minority White nation and 2020 marked the first time that post-millennials under 18 years of age found their group comprised of a majority of people of color. In the same year anti-Asian hate crimes have increased by 150%, anti-Black violence continues to rise and people of Latinx descent have been framed as illegal citizens who “need to go back to where they came from!” What other outcomes were expected?
